CONNECT BODY AND MIND WITH ALEXA

 

Alexa was first drawn to yoga during a turbulent time in her life; She was looking to find more movement and to focus on her health and wellness.

Since graduating from her first training in 2015 she has taught and continued her study of yoga completing programs in Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga. In addition, she has been studying Feldenkrais, functional anatomy, and the axis syllabus allowing her to integrate her understanding of functional movement into her yoga practise and teaching.

Alexa brings her warm, authentic, and empathetic teaching style to Fitness Science, offering creative, challenging, and relaxing yoga classes that include breath, laughter and space for each student to be themselves. 

There is nothing she enjoys more than spreading the exploration of mind body connection through breath and movement, and helping students discover the presence of yoga in their lives.
